Introducing Leigh Walters – Priory Solutions’ New Managing Director

After thirteen years leading the Priory Solutions business, Peter Borchers is stepping into an advisory capacity, handing the day to day management of the business to a new member of the team, Priory’s new Managing Director, Leigh Walters. Leigh is now responsible for the overall performance of the company, including business strategy, general operations and revenue growth.  Having spent many years in the technology and financial service industries, he has broad experience working in multiple business functions, ranging from finance and product management through to sales. Having lived and worked in both the US and the UK Leigh is perfectly suited to running the Priory business with its strong presence on both sides of the Atlantic.

Peter had the following to say about Leigh’s appointment: “It is with great excitement that we welcome Leigh to the team. Personally, I am thrilled to have someone with his experience of managing and growing businesses on board as the company grows its client base in the legal market and expands into other industries. I am extremely fortunate to have been part of the dynamic team that has grown the business to this point, and handing over daily operations to someone with Leigh’s leadership and business skills is the ideal start of the next phase in the business. I look forward to continuing my involvement in the business albeit in a different capacity.”

Asked for comment Leigh provided his own thoughts on his move; “When presented with the opportunity to become part of the Priory Solutions team I immediately recognized it as an great fit for me. Finding a solid well-run business with a satisfied, loyal and growing client base is exactly the kind of business one wants to take to the next level. Although I know I have some large shoes to fill, I’m excited by the challenge, especially as I can see appetite in other research intensive markets for Priory’s products. I hope my experience in these broader markets will help the business fulfil its potential. It is also of great importance knowing that we’re part of TRG, as this provides both resources and business skills which will make my job more achievable. I look forward to meeting all our existing clients and continuing the great relationships that have been built up over many years.”
