June was a busy month with three significant events keeping us busy. The first was our annual London company meeting for which the team gathered to bond and discuss strategy for the remainder of the year. We spent time discussing who to hire next, where to focus ResearchMonitor development effort post V7.1, and how to internally organise the Client Services team to provide improved service levels. As well as serious work discussions we managed to find time for serious team building, including boat trips on the Thames and dinner in the Shard.
Immediately after the company meeting, Peter Borchers and Jose Camacho attended the BIALL conference in Dublin. The intimacy of the BIALL exhibition in comparison to the larger US events is refreshing and it provided a great opportunity to have multiple conversations with existing clients and industry partners. Peter was scheduled to give a lightening talk on the opening day focusing on “Efficiently responding to research requests” but due to a flight cancellation was unable to deliver the talk. This left Jose in the unfortunate position of having to deliver the presentation using Peter’s talking notes as a guide! Jose did a great job and was congratulated on his courageous delivery over the next couple of days. In addition to this talk, Peter ran a Quest product demo on the Friday and we held many interesting discussions in the booth for the entire duration of the event.
The third and final significant event held in June 2016 was the UK ResearchMonitor User Group meeting held at the Linklaters London offices. The discussion revolved mainly around the RM Web 2016, RM 7.1, our development roadmap and a brief review of Quest integration.
It was arguably the busiest month of the year! Many thanks to the Priory Solutions team for all their hard work and many thanks to our clients for your continued support.
