Priory Solutions has been attending AALL for many years, and each year the conference reinforces its position as one of the most influential and thought leading for legal libraries.
State capital and home to the State university, Austin Texas was repeatedly remarked on as a perfect venue for AALL17, offering a great music scene and rich culture. Watching the famous bats is such a popular activity, even the bike racks are fashioned after them.
Visitors to the conference met the Priory Solutions team like old friends. Their positive feedback extended to the extent that many brought colleagues to be introduced to the team, and receive ResearchMonitor and Quest demos.
Market share for ResearchMonitor continues to rise steadily and Quest is resonating with the gap in the market for a request tracking tool. Priory Solutions’ product functionality aligns with tech industry trends both in the legal sector and beyond. More and more, information professionals are looking for better ways to handle metrics; and usage statistics for the justification of both internal and external processes.
The Priory Solutions team were thrilled to reconnect with many satisfied clients; and to see that our products were so highly respected in the industry. ResearchMonitor was even mentioned in a couple of sessions as a key tool for handling metrics.

Priory Solutions also hosted two busy user group meetings at AALL17 for both ResearchMonitor, and for the second year in a row, Quest. Feedback garnered in these informal chat sessions are invaluable as clients find a safe and approachable space to voice gratitude or concerns and suggest product developments.
This year’s feedback across the board was overwhelmingly positive and users were especially pleased with much of the integration functionality set on ResearchMonitor’s roadmap for development.
Unsurprisingly Quest’s user group meeting was as enthusiastic and well supported. This relatively new product is making tracks in the market, and the industry is abuzz with the possibilities.
The user group meetings are also the perfect opportunity for Priory Solutions to thank clients for their support and vested interest in our products. Many clients have been pleased with Priory Solutions’ efforts to respond to their suggestions and needs in development, and that the loyalty runs both ways.
